About: Andres Freyre is an all-vinyl, all-Spanish DJ in Southern California who has a passion for preserving and celebrating the music that he grew up listening to in the poverty-stricken hills of Tijuana. In this short documentary, I accompanied him, as a friend with a camera, as he revisited his childhood home -- a place that is slowly disappearing into the trenches of those hills.

About: The South El Monte Arts Posse explores the history of muralism in South El Monte and El Monte during the 1970s in anticipation of their new mural on the Valley Mall. Appearances by Chicana and Tongva Elder Gloria Arellanes, Ron Reeder, and Carribean Fragoza.
