Song: "Amor Extraño"
Artist: Katzù Oso

"Amor Extraño" like many of Katzu Oso's songs, is a celebration of love! So, I wanted to capture the essence of the romantic lyrics while keeping the fun dynamic pace of the music in a romantic action style film.
Starring all the band members of Katzu Oso we created a telenovela-style music video with a cinematic touch!
Song: "Caiganle a la Fiesta"

"Caiganle a la Fiesta" is a fun party jam that celebrates Mexican quebradita music!
I wanted to give this video a fun 90's cartoon aesthetic to complement the silly characters portrayed by Philthy Dronez and Banana Leaf Boy. They play two eccentric Latinx "paisa" characters are all about "puro pinche party"! We pretty much ran around Boyle Heights interacting with the local community to capture festive images of the rich Latino culture in Los Angeles. We added animation by artist @Deladeso to heighten the fun!

This is a story about heartache and how we heal from it. I'm sure it's a different process
for everyone, but I wanted to capture some of the different phases that a person endures
on their way to healing. I wasn't too concerned with a creating a narrative to explain
what happened to her, but more of a voyeur window into a very intimate moment in her life.

Just like the human body heals from wounds and injuries, so does the heart, but it takes time.
"Shores" is a very emotional song and I hoped to capture its cathartic power with this music video.

Recalling American nostalgia of 60’s suburbia, where little kids wave "hi" to the mail man and ride their bicycles down the streets with white picked fences… comes this celebration of modern suburban Americana, set in El Monte, CA.
"La Luz" by Los Dead Dreams (formerly known as Santoros) embodies their signature Southern California surf rock vibe, so we wanted to carry that energy into a summer block party video. My goal was to capture fun suburban Americana BUT in the way that I know it -- diverse, colorful, and bold (shot in El Monte of course)!

Song: "Ghost"
Artist: A.J. Gallardo

Director: Benjamin Barrett

Always down to help the homies!  This music video was a collaboration project for longtime homies AJ Gallardo (composer of "Varsity Punks") and Benjamin Barrett (fellow actor/filmmaker). Shot locally with local talent... also in El Monte, CA. I came on board as producer.

Song: "All My Time"
Artist: Heroin House Fires
Director: Anthony Solorzano

Shot as a teaser for the upcoming production of "Varsity Punks," this music video loosely tells the story of movie.
I wanted to heighten the excitement of running while playing out a drama of teenage angst. This was my first professional caliber production since the days of mini-dv.
